IP (Network) Engineer II

GCI's (IP)Network Engineer II-The ideal candidate will be responsible for core infrastructure of the IP and business network. This role is part of Technology Solutions focused on engineering design and implementation services necessary to support the company’s IP/MPLS core network, carrier Ethernet transport systems, cellular data core systems, and/or video transmission services.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required: *A combination of relevant work experience and/or education sufficient to perform the duties of the job may substitute to meet the total years required on a year-for-year basis

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technologies, Electrical Engineering, or relevant field. *
• Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in progressive engineering in information technology, development, and engineering, moderate to complex project management within telecommunications or related background. *

Preferred:

• Experience within the telecommunications industry.
• Other telecom industry or job specific certifications.
