We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to develop and document designs for assembly and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with sales, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to ensure product designs meet customer requirements while optimizing manufacturing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and document product designs, including 3D models and detailed drawings, using SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with sales and manufacturing teams to align designs with customer requirements and minimize production costs.
- Determine product specifications in partnership with internal teams, suppliers, and external customers.
- Evaluate products against quality standards and specifications.
- Provide engineering support to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for manufacturing and sales teams.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in mechanical design or engineering.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education:
- A Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is highly preferred but not required.
