Summary
The Project Controls Analyst supports engineering project managers by simplifying the interpretation of project performance. Key duties include analyzing data to report metrics such as earned value management, cost and schedule performance, and baseline change control.
Essential Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and track project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and potential delays are identified and addressed promptly
- Conduct ongoing project performance analysis, assessing cost trends to provide accurate status reports
- Generate and present comprehensive reports and dashboards to communicate project status, key performance indicators (KPIs), and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in project controls processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Develops appropriate training material and process documentation
- Prepare project financial health reviews with management team each month (via dashboards, budget software, schedule comparisons, productivity reports, etc.)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Education and / or Experience
Minimum (5) Years of experience in Data Analytics and relevant software. Accounting, Experience in Accounting, Engineering, Architecture or Construction is preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have supervisory or oversight responsibilities.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid driver’s license.
