What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Administrator - CyberSecure Protected Distribution System (PDS) position at GCyber?
*Due to the classification and nature of the work performed, this position will be full-time at the Government location.
As the CyberSecure PDS Administrator, your responsibilities include:
- PDS Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Conduct weekly tests of the PDS in accordance with CNSSI No. 7003 standards, ensuring all protective measures are operational and effectively monitored.
- Oversee and manage configurations, upgrades, and adjustments to PDS devices as necessary, enhancing the security and functionality of the protected network paths.
- Alert Analysis and Troubleshooting:
- Perform real-time analysis of PDS alerts and resolve issues as they arise. Provide technical support for device configurations, modes, and settings related to the PDS.
- Incident Response:
- Respond to and resolve incidents involving PDS security alerts promptly, coordinating with other security personnel to mitigate any potential risks to network security.
- Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance
- DoD 8570 IAT II Certification or higher (https://public.cyber.mil/cw/cwmp/dod-approved-8570-baseline-certifications)
- 5 years in network administration and/or monitoring in a DoD environment
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing and maintaining the Cybersecure Infrastructure Monitoring PDS solution.
