Key Responsibilities
- Deal Sourcing & Networking: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with brokers, owners, and industry professionals to discover off-market and listed opportunities.
- Underwriting & Financial Analysis: Lead financial modeling and underwriting to evaluate value-add opportunities, ensuring attractive returns and minimizing risks.
- Bidding & Negotiation: Take the lead in preparing and submitting bids, negotiating favorable terms, and driving the acquisition process to successful closures.
- Due Diligence & Closing: Oversee the due diligence process, ensuring smooth coordination with legal, financial, and environmental teams, driving deals to closing with speed and accuracy.
- Property & Market Evaluation: Conduct property tours, assess investment potential, and stay on top of market trends to identify and act on emerging opportunities.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in real estate acquisitions (multifamily, mixed-use, value-add).
- Strong understanding of the NYC real estate market and regulations.
- Expertise in underwriting, financial modeling (Excel/Argus), and deal negotiation.
- Proven ability to close deals and manage transactions from start to finish.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related field.
Compensation
- Competitive Base Salary with commission-based pay directly tied to successful acquisitions and deal closings, offering unlimited earning potential based on performance.
