Catholic Music Director

Location : Edwards Air Force Base, California

Job Type : Contract

Responsibilities :

Play piano for Catholic Mass and liturgical services.
Arrange and lead choir rehearsals in preparation for Sunday Mass and special events.
Select and coordinate music with the Catholic Priest for liturgical celebrations.
Ensure compliance with copyright laws for all music used in services.
Maintain and care for musical instruments and equipment.
Attend liturgy and music planning meetings.
Support the choir and congregation in musical worship.

Qualifications :

Proficiency in piano or organ performance.

Experience directing Catholic liturgical music (2 years preferred).

Knowledge of Catholic hymns, Mass settings, and liturgical requirements.

Ability to sight-read music and accompany singers.
