The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical disabilities or injuries to improve movement, manage pain, and enhance overall functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess patients to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve mobility, strength, and coordination.
- Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to physical therapy services.
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Maryland.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
