Equipment Operator
Job Title: Truck and Sidewalk Operators for Snow Season
Reports To: Owner/President
Summary: Remove snow from designated properties, as contracted or instructed
Essential Function:
- Shovel, blow, or plow walkways, parking lots, and entries
- Use truck, skid loader, end loader, or other snow removal equipment
- Apply salt or other ice-melting agents
- Adhere to business management system (BMS), as applicable
- Assist with any other duties as assigned
Basic Requirements:
Basic computer and written/verbal communication skills
Physical ability to shovel snow for up to several hours continuously
Drivers must maintain a clean driving record
Physical Exposure:
Constant standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, and lifting
Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs
Exposure to cold temperatures, snow, and other weather conditions
Proximity to snow removal equipment
