Job Title: Data Center Building Maintenance Worker
Job Location: Pyote, Texas
Job Type: 1099 Contractor-Full-Time
Schedule: Night Shift (8:00 PM-6:30 AM Monday-Friday)
Job responsibilities:
• Installation and configuration of computers on shelves according to manufacturer's
requirements.
• Real-time monitoring of computer operation, including checking status and performance.
• Regular maintenance of computers, including dust cleaning, replacement of thermal paste
and fans when necessary.
• Identification and troubleshooting of computer malfunctions, including replacement of
faulty components and equipment repair.
• Follow heat mitigation policies and procedures for operating cooling systems for miners
to prevent overheating and ensure optimal operation.
• Monitoring of computer power consumption and optimization of operation to reduce
energy costs.
• Recording and analysis of computer performance statistics, including high uptime and
efficiency.
• Timely updating of computer software to improve performance and security.
• Collaboration with other specialists such as electricians and network engineers to ensure
proper operation and support of computer equipment.
• Documentation of computer work, including maintenance logs, reports on malfunctions,
and completed repairs.
Job Requirements:
• Knowledge and experience in working with computer equipment.
• Technical skills and experience in servicing and repairing computer equipment.
• Understanding of the operation and configuration of miners, software, and power supply.
• Ability to work under high load conditions and ensure data security.
• Physical strength and endurance for installation and maintenance of computer equipment.
• Certification in IT or electrical engineering is preferred.
• Forklift and scissor lift driving certificates would be a big plus.
• Ability to organize work and adhere to maintenance schedules.
• Communication and collaboration skills with other specialists (basic knowledge of
English is required).
• Ability to maintain documentation for tracking computer equipment and create reports.
