Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SD Wan Engineer to join their team. This role is pivotal in deploying medium complexity tools and related Network Management Systems, ensuring the successful upgrade and migration of network activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network design, deployment, and maintenance, with a particular focus on SD-WAN, SDA, Catalyst Center, and DNA Center technologies. This position requires client-facing experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to different customer needs. The role offers an opportunity to work on highly complex networking problems, build simulated networks in test labs, and contribute to virtual teams. This is a technical position that requires a DoD TS, SCI eligibility, and the ability to pass a CI Polygraph.

Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with the deployment of medium complexity tools and related Network Management Systems.
- Participate in Network Upgrade and Migration Activities, ensuring a smooth transition and minimizing impact on operations.
- Execute project delivery tasks, including network staging, implementation, and handover to ensure successful project completion.
- Generate network configurations from Low-Level Design documentation, adhering to best practices and project requirements.
- Create standard project documentation, including test plans, to document and guide project execution and validation processes.
- Provide ad hoc systems/product knowledge transfers to clients, enhancing their understanding and capability to manage deployed solutions.
- Contribute to Virtual Teams, collaborating with colleagues and clients to achieve project objectives and deliverables.
- Build simulated networks in test labs to resolve highly complex problems and compatibility issues, ensuring robust and reliable network solutions.
- Proven client-facing experience, demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Flexibility to adapt to different customer needs and project requirements.
- Must have DoD TS, SCI eligibility, and able to pass a CI Polygraph, ensuring compliance with security and clearance requirements.
- Possession of a CCNP certification or equivalent experience in network engineering and design. CCIE certification is highly desirable.
- Strong hands-on experience in SD-WAN, SDA, Catalyst Center, DNA Center, and large-scale network design, deployment, and maintenance.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a network engineering role, with a strong foundation in network principles and technologies.
- Proven technical project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage complex network deployment projects.
- Ability to perform analysis and diagnosis of highly complex networking problems, providing effective solutions and troubleshooting support.
- Leadership and mentoring skills, with the capacity to build and maintain consultative/trusted advisor relationships with clients.
