Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, implement, maintain, and support applications software that meets business requirements and is delivered within budget.
- Engage in the full systems lifecycle, contributing to the development of new code and the reuse of existing code.
- Develop N-Tier applications using service-oriented architecture (SOA), ensuring compliance with HIPAA through the use of OOP practices and advanced multithreading in C#.
- Create robust REST API services and Service Endpoints for AJAX templates to consume JSON/XML, enhancing system interactivity and functionality.
- Utilize SQL Server database to write complex queries, stored procedures, views, triggers, and perform performance tuning and SQL profiling.
- Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation, and make recommendations on ‘buy vs. build’ decisions.
- Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and propose technical solutions that adhere to organizational standards.
- Document code and participate in the review of code developed by other analysts to ensure adherence to project development methodology.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in .Net development with SQL, including extensive knowledge of Agile process development.
- Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, MVC, ASP .Net MVC, REST Services, jQuery, Knockout.JS, Razor Views, Bootstrap, and SQL Server.
- Experience in designing and developing REST API services and handling complex SQL database operations.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and the ability to apply OOP practices and advanced multithreading concepts.
- Knowledge of IIS Administration, multiple JavaScript frameworks, SoftwareAG webMethods, InRules, SSRS, and MS Team Foundation Server or Azure DevOps is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a strong focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with State Government, Medicaid, CHIP, and DHR business areas or healthcare industry is advantageous.
