Job Title: Senior Systems and Projects Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems and Projects Engineer to oversee IT infrastructure operations, including systems administration, security, and project management. This role also involves managing escalations, system security, and contributing to the design of network architecture. The ideal candidate will have experience with IT infrastructure, security measures, and project leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Systems Administration: Install, configure, and maintain hardware/software systems; monitor system performance; manage security measures including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data backup/recovery.
- Technical Support & Documentation: Provide escalated technical support to internal teams and clients, document processes, configurations, and system changes. Develop automation scripts and drive continuous improvement.
- Project Management: Lead and participate in IT projects, ensuring timely completion, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and improve systems.
- Mentorship: Supervise and mentor internal team members, ensuring quality performance and assisting with technical training.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 15 years of experience in IT, particularly in managed services or complex IT infrastructure environments.
- Proficiency in managing Windows, Hypervisors, network devices, and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and experience with security frameworks.
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and independent work skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud technologies (AVD, Microsoft 365 Tenant Management, Remote Desktop, AWS, Azure).
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and RMM optimization.
- Experience with MSP tools and network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices.
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect, or similar.

- Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
- Ability to lift or carry 30-40 lbs and travel to customer sites.
- Ability to build relationships quickly and present effectively to clients.
- Enforce compliance with company policies and procedures.
Salary : $85,000 - $105,000
