General Cleaner

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Maintain cleanliness in designated areas by ensuring all surfaces are sanitized and organized.
• Conduct floor care activities including buffing and polishing to ensure a pristine appearance.
• Assist with custodial duties in both residential and commercial spaces, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met.
• Participate in facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support overall operational efficiency.
• Execute industrial cleaning procedures to maintain safety and cleanliness in production areas.
• Occasionally assist with residential painting projects as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning roles such as porter, custodial, or commercial cleaning is preferred.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
• A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in all environments.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.59 - $16.89 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
