Summary :
Responsible for organizing, directing, and controlling operational activities across designated region, so as to achieve specified cost and profit objectives and ensure that all work is performed in accordance with contract specifications across our clients in the region.
Essential Duties :
- Comply with all GDI safety policies and procedures; immediately report and investigate any employee accidents or near misses.
- Possess a detailed knowledge of the operations at each site (contract, scope of work, building type, client nuances, etc..).
- Assure the delivery and execution of all contracted janitorial services within the region.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers at all client locations.
- Maintain frequent communication and contact across all client sites via phone calls, emails, and site visits.
- Review financial performance regularly to forecast spend and adjust as needed.
- Prepare and develop financial and operational reports weekly and monthly.
- Work closely with supervisors and managers to develop their operational knowledge and management capabilities.
- Continuously monitor the overall performance of each site and make appropriate changes as needed.
- Work directly with client and internal teams to ensure billing and collections are processed in a timely manner.
- Partner with local and national 3rd party vendors and suppliers for onsite material, supplies and equipment.
- Negotiate modifications to compensation or staffing plans based on site specific needs.
- Oversight of all employees in the region with direct supervision of all employees reporting to sites within territory including but not limited to Area Managers, Account Managers, and Cleaners.
