Project description
You'll be working in the Application Support and Reliability (ASR) which provides application support for the Reference Data & Azure Cloud suite of applications. You will be located in Nashville Tennessee and will be part of a global team that provides follow-the-sun support with other locations in Pune India and Zurich Switzerland.
Responsibilities:

We're looking for an IT support analyst to:
support data applications that will eventually migrate to the Azure Cloud Platform
ensure workflows, processes, tooling and applications meet the highest production quality standards
contribute ITIL production expertise to the onboarding of existing and new IT products and services
define workarounds for known errors and initiate process improvements
assist in planning BCP, patching and other infrastructure related projects
contribute to automating manual processes
get involved in problem management to identify root causes and ensure issues don't reoccur
maintain a knowledge database
Skills Must have:
2-3 years hands-on experience with UNIX, SQL and MS Office products
experience with monitoring solutions, preferably Big Panda, AppDynamics and /or Splunk
experience with cloud solutions, Azure Cloud knowledge is highly desirable
proficient with tools such as ServiceNow, Confluence, JIRA and batch scheduling tools like Autosys
ability to solve complex issues, good at problem statement analysis and solution design thinking
track record of building good relationships with IT stakeholders and business partners
a solid working knowledge of ITIL
Good communication and excellent command of both written and spoken English
Nice to have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
experience with Business Intelligence Software (like MicroStrategy, PowerBI. etc.) is a plus
Use of or knowledge of automation tools like Automation Anywhere or IP center a plus
