Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer with expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud to help modernize the Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, and Disney Vacation Club contact cent technology stack. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Salesforce development, architecture, and integrations, as well as strong Java API development skills for backend services.
This role requires deep technical proficiency, leadership capabilities, and a strong understanding of customer service operations in high-volume environments.
This is a hands-on role that will:
Write code
Collaborate with architects to ensure the delivery matches the technical design and solve new problems as they arise
Collaborate with and direct the work of additional technical resources to complete development tasks
Work closely with product managers and story owners to design features and prioritize tasks.
Assemble releases and drive improvements in the delivery and release processes
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field or related work experience.
Five to eight years of developing backend applications for enterprise or consumer use.
Experience working in an Agile Team consisting of product, design, QA and development. Significant knowledge/experience in relevant technologies, such as Java, Node (JavaScript/Typescript), clouc

Technical Expertise:
Java API Development - Proficiency in Java for building and maintaining RESTful APis, microservices, and backend integrations. Experience with Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, and database integrations (SQL/NoSQL).
Enterprise API Integration - Ability to develop scalable APls that integrate with enterprise and vendor SaaS systems, ensuring high availability and security.
Salesforce Development & Architecture - Extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining Salesforce solutions, with a focus on Service Cloud.
Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flow - Proficiency in writing scalable and efficient Apex triggers, classes, batch jobs, and building LWC components.
Omni-Channel & Routing Logic - Deep understanding of Salesforce Omni-Channel, CTI integrations, and Service Cloud Voice to optimize case routing and agent efficiency.
Service Cloud Console Customization - Experience in customizing Agent Workspaces, Macros, Quick Actions, and Productivity Tools for contact center agents.
Integration & Middleware Expertise - Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce with telephony systems (Amazon Connect, Five9, Genesys, Avaya etc.), external CRMs, Al chatbots, and third-party
