Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Quality Engineer to join our team at GE Aerospace. In this role, you will lead the quality cross-functional team focused on Engine Test First Time Yield. Your primary responsibility will be to own the C&A FTY metric at engine test and drive improvements utilizing supplier scorecards while managing action items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of the Quality discipline as well as analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy.
- Awareness of related job disciplines including business operations, purchasing, and engineering.
- Owning the engine test first time yield metric for the C&A commodity and collaborating with the SQE Team to manage investigations, drive improvements, and communicate corrective actions to the broader team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years experience in aerospace/automotive quality or process engineering roles)
- A minimum of 5 years experience in aerospace/automotive quality or process engineering roles).
