Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary interface with regulatory agencies, specifically FAA and EASA.
- Develop the new GE site’s Quality system to meet all regulatory and business requirements.
- Create a “Culture of Quality,” where Quality is at the forefront of everyone’s mind.
- Oversee and Perform internal audits locally and at remote locations.
- Conduct and own the Quality training plan for all staff as required.
- Work with the Business Leader and support team to maintain the GE Aerospace Flight Deck Management System.
- Own the proactive quality framework for reducing quality risk at the shop.
- Lead RCCA Execution for the shop facilitating best practice sharing with other GE Aerospace and OWS shops.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and 5 years of aviation industry experience (or a minimum high school diploma / GED with an additional 4 years of aviation industry experience).
- 5 years of commercial aircraft engines experience.
- 5 years of experience working with aviation regulatory agencies.
- 1 year of experience with FAA FAR 145 procedures and processes.
- Qualified Auditor or Auditing experience.
- Test Cell experience preferred but other MRO experience will be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
- Established project management skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
