Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand current structural layouts of assembly/test shops throughout ATMRO
- Work within teams to design and optimize production layouts to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Evaluate the load capacities of existing infrastructure and identify potential issues.
- Develop comprehensive work scopes for the installation of new equipment and modifications to existing equipment.
- Travel as required to support project needs and facility operations (up to 30% travel)
- Address safety concerns, specifically related to overhead structures such as bridges, cranes, and hoists.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and operational methods in various facilities.
- Contribute to the development of new products and improvements to existing ones.
- 25-30% Travel
- Professional Engineer Licenseis strongly desired.
- Strong knowledge ofindustrial building designsandoverhead steel structures.
- Ability to design layouts that increaseproductivityandeliminate wastefulness.
- Understanding ofload capacitiesand infrastructure assessment.
- Experience in developing work scopes fornew and modified equipment.
- Willingness totravelas part of the job requirements.
- Commitment to driving solutions forsafety-related issues.
