Job Description SummaryThe McAllen Site HR Leader will be responsible for providing the full scope of HR advice, guidance, and support across a Component Repair manufacturing site. In this role, you will partner with the Managing Director and leadership team to plan and execute strategies that ensure maximum engagement of employees within the site for our 450 talented employees.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesProvide HR leadership at a stand-alone GE facility and act as a member of the site leadership teamServe as the first point of contact for employees & people leadersProvide leadership, coaching and support for individual employee needs processes including Employee Advocacy / Engagement, HR Fundamentals and Process Training, Employee Relations Management, Performance Management, Career Development, Talent Assessment, Acquisition and Retention and Workplace Investigations as appropriateAdvise and guide people leaders on HR approaches, projects and programsLead, design and implement projectsProvide leadership for the site HR teamDrive continuous improvement through applying problem solving methodology, action planning to address business KPIRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited university or collegeMinimum of 5 years experience in Human Resource ManagementDesired Characteristics : Master's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial / Labor Relations, or Business Administration from an accredited college or universitySignificant experience in leading people and HR teamsSpanish speakerStrong transactional Lean backgroundPassionate, employee advocate who wants to make a difference in the organization by helping employees succeedApproachable and responsive resource able to connect with employees at all levelsStrong customer service focus, with a high level of responsivenessSupportive team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment; ability to diffuse a tense situationAbility to make independent decisions, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong coaching skillsAbility to influence and work across multiple functions and levels in the organizationAdditional InformationGE Aerospace offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
