How You'll Create Possibilities
As a Senior Manager, Materials, you will:
- Lead by Example: Foster a culture of safety and compliance within the Materials Team.
- Inspire Leadership: Oversee a team of materials professionals and hourly associates across multiple shifts.
- Optimize Material Flow: Deploy strategies for material-related initiatives to enhance efficiency.
- Champion Continuous Improvement: Utilize Lean methodologies to drive materials programs and processes.
- Manage Inventory: Focus on reducing inventory levels, improving inventory turns, and achieving 95% inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate for Success: Work closely with Operations, ERP, and Lean teams to streamline processes and ensure accuracy.
- Strategic Analysis: Perform ABC classifications, calculate safety stock, and determine economic order quantities.
- Financial Oversight: Lead inventory management for financial reviews and maintain a project deck to support inventory reductions.
- Innovate and Benchmark: Share best practices across the organization and lead sustainability initiatives.
- Build and Retain Talent: Recruit and develop top-tier talent to achieve functional goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of materials management experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- 10 years of manufacturing experience, including leading work teams.
- Proven systems expertise, including MRP/ERP systems and proficiency in MS Word/Excel.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional initiatives and managing multiple priorities.
- Expertise in sustainability initiatives and Lean methodologies.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
