We are looking for a Cash Applier to join our GE Appliances team In this role, you will be responsible for balancing and logging incoming bank transmissions to batch details including processing and applying customer remittances for assigned lock boxes, wire transfers, and credit cardsWhat you will Do
- Access information warehouse reports and downloaded information to assist with payment applications
- Communicate with Accounts Receivable teams regarding customer remittances and research questions
- Monitor for third party payments to ensure remitter name matches to customer name
- Research/escalate concerns where needed
- Various administrative duties as required
- Assist other teams as needed when Cash Application work plan has been cleared for the day
What you need to Succeed
- Associates degree or minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, accounting, or cash applications
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Ability to adjust to changes in routines, peak loads, etc. Overtime required last Saturday of each fiscal and calendar month-end, year-end, and some holidays
- Speed, accuracy and efficiency crucial – data entry
- Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to research and problem solve
- Ability to multi-task, use of multiple systems
- Strong organizational skills
The starting salary for this position is non-negotiable at $19.25/hr
