The Technical Support Specialist is responsible for providing appliance repair technical support to the field appliance servicers, including Factory Service Technicians and Customer Care Servicers.

How You'll Create Possibilities
- Provide reliable, timely, accurate and professional technical support to field technicians and services via telephone, utilizing all available resources.
- Assist in the development of technical training programs, materials, new product serviceability and periodically present training instruction.
- Act as a liaison among all Factory Service and Manufacturing components regarding technical and service issues, including approval for product exchanges.
- Provide timely, accurate product failure information to the business to drive root-cause quality fixes.
- Work with Field Service Technicians and management to drive first time call completion.

Position Requirement
- Strong PC skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to challenge status quo and drive for performance excellence
- Willingness to work any schedule, different hours and/or different days, including weekends
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 5 years of successful experience as an appliance Field Service Technician or related experience
Preferred Qualifications: “Desired”
- Technical degree or related training preferred
- Six sigma certification
Working Conditions:
- Position is located in Louisville, KY at Appliance Park.
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
- Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
