In this role you will be joining GE Aviation's Additive manufacturing team as a quality engineer working on state of the art additive technology. The Auburn Additive manufacturing facility has produced more additive jet engine parts than any other place worldwide and continues to add new parts to its portfolio.Product quality review associated with the Additive manufacturing process. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations.

Roles and Responsibilities
- This entry level role will put you in the middle of additive manufacturing where you can use your eye for detail and your ability to solve problems.
- Quality is responsible for making sure the engineering and parts requirements are met.
- Participate and implement solutions found from route cause analysis.
- Improving quality metrics for losses or non-conformances and reduce defects.
- Work cross functionally with engineering and production to see the broader picture and help to decrease defects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma/GED with 4 years of experience in Manufacturing & Production Quality).

- Quality aerospace background
- AS9100 experience a plus
- Additive manufacturing experience or any other manufacturing experience is helpful
