Roles and Responsibilities
- Management of a team of people covering the full range of financial reporting and consolidation.
- Partnering with senior executive engineering leader on strategic direction of the 500 advanced technology organization
- Participate in cross functional team in developing and maintaining business cases for RISE technology programs
- Lead a global cross functional team on external customer funding opportunities for advanced technology pursuits
- Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems that impact the function.
- Lead in the culture of the engineering finance organization
- LEAN learning and application to continuous improvement across the organization
- Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders.
- Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations.
- Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or college with concentration in accounting or finance
- 6 years of finance experience including financial closing and consolidation.
