EDISON ENGINEERING DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (EEDP) - ENGINES

Job Summary:

EEDP is a 2-year rotational engineering program designed to accelerate your professional growth through exciting assignments and inspiring technical training opportunities. Upon completion, you will be ready for a career as a jet engine innovator at GE Aerospace.

In the Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP) you will gain a variety of experiences in engineering, work with leaders invested in your learning and development, and collaborate with a global workforce of diverse backgrounds, perspectives, ideas, and experiences. Accelerate your professional and technical development with three business-critical rotations in the areas of your interest. Essential Responsibilities:

  • Work in three rotational assignments of your choosing across a variety of propulsion engineering disciplines within the commercial and military engine product lines

  • Apply engineering fundamentals in a dynamic business environment

  • Hone your analytical/problem-solving skills

  • Learn about jet engine and propulsion technology directly from world-class engineers and experienced technical leaders

  • Incorporate LEAN principles into your standard work

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Graduating Spring 2024 or before with Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Ceramic, Chemical, Electrical, Engineering Mechanics, Materials, Mechanical, or Welding Engineering from an ABET-accredited university or college

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale

  • Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status before employment.

The base salary for this position is set at $76,000 and this position is eligible for a target bonus of 5% of base salary. Relocation support is available for qualified moves to a new city. Performance-based salary increases are reviewed after each completed rotation.
