Job Description Summary

The Executive FP&A Leader is accountable for all aspects of financial planning and analysis across our $10B Global Imaging Business Unit. This role will provide critical decision operational finance decision support across the entire business value stream including capital allocation, New Product Introduction (NPI) execution, supply and demand forecasting, sourcing resiliency, supply chain, variable cost productivity (VCP), NPI commercialization, pricing strategies, organic growth and acquisition integration. This role will partner with the business unit CFO, CEO, Healthcare Group FP&A Leader, senior operating staff, investor relations, as well as be accountable as a people leader. This is an extremely exciting time to join GE Healthcare as we prepare our spin-off from GE in early 2023 and our future as an investment grade independent public company.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

o Leads with safety, integrity, compliance and controllership. Provides finance functional counsel to operating partners including healthy, constructive debates

o Accountable for day, week, month, quarter and annual FP&A activities that deliver against operating budget KPI’s and targets across revenue, operating profit and cash flow, working in tandem with key finance and operating partners

o Rigorously assesses NPI business cases and stress tests against market and customer needs. Clearly lays out financial returns for capital allocation decision making and monitors say/do execution (within PPM) to include sourcing, supply chain strategy, price setting, commercialization, services, digital solutions, VCP and cashflow

o Leads the finance agenda for monthly operating review framework, bowler KPI’s and strategy reviews that supports the business exceed budget and targets. Applies lean problem solving to root cause and counter measure against bowler red’s

o Establishes a 3-year long term strategy and financial plan to deliver organic growth, margin and cash in line with business expectations

o Provides support to GE Healthcare Group FP&A, investor relations and investor requests and story boarding

o Is passionate about applying lean, standard work, automation, self-service reporting and providing people leadership and competency development

o Is enthused to operate, grow and contribute to our vision to deliver precision healthcare for our customers and patients globally


Qualifications/Requirements
:

o Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Economics

o Minimum 10 years of operating finance expertise and rigor

o Accountable for delivering financial performance quarterly, annually, and longer term

o Demonstrated depth and breadth in FP&A expertise from prior assignments

o Operating in a multi-region environment supporting Senior Leadership &/or Board

o Ability to manage multiple high priorities and high visibility deliverables

o Comfortable dealing with ambiguity in a rapidly-evolving environment and setting the tone for the organization

o Operates across all levels of the organization

o Excellent executive presentation, facilitation, and communication skills

o Previous executive-level experience in operational CFO roles and/or FP&A assignments

o Track record of developing sustainable performance cultures where team members are passionate about winning.

o Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
