Project Director is a key role to manage and drive results within the factory PM team on orders, margin, cash and highly valued customer outcomes. Key aspects include order scope, schedule, financials/pacing, and risk management while ensuring customer satisfaction. Own and execute P&L responsibilities for the project factory orders
As a Project Director, you will be responsible for:
- Manage the factory project management organization, strategy, and Lead the Project Management and Order Management Leaders reporting directly to him/her and be key contact for Valve Orders for Customer Organizations and BHGE Senior Management
- Create a culture and environment which enables the attraction of new, qualified talent to the organization
- Ensure good application of HSE and quality standards throughout the process
- Act as the primary customer contact for critical or escalated issues on all orders
- Conduct regular reviews and audits with the Project and Functional Teams to drive continuous improvements
- Support and assist with development and use of new tools and systems for process improvement
- Capture and leverage the lessons learned from project execution to improve quality of the orders across all functions in the ITO and OTR teams
- Ensure cross functional interactions with other factory teams
- Lead the execution of an operating rhythm with Engineering, Quality, Sourcing, and Supply Chain functions
- Work closely with supply chain to drive fulfillment, deliver on customer commitments (value, on time delivery, quality products)
- Lead OTR risk management in the identification and mitigation of commercial, technical, and execution risk
- Ensure project piloting excellence through regular detailed analysis (Finance, Schedule, Quality) and proper action plans (risk management, continuous improvement)
- Lead the financial (rev rec, milestone payment, LD) and on-time delivery performance on all orders
- Responsible for delivering a targeted revenue and each quarter.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor's degree or Masters in Mechanical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- With 15-20 years experience in Project Management, Contract Management and Customer Relations
- PMP certified ( Preferred)
