Inspector 2 (Mechanical Inspection)

Job Description Summary

In this position, you will be inspecting assembled parts for imperfections and nonconformities. You will review all parts that you are assigned against the blueprints and process sheets to verify that the parts meet customer standard. You will be testing all electrical components and measuring them with an ohm meter, ruler and micrometer. Any non-conforming parts you will need to either send back to the assembly team for repair or out for scrap if it is non-repairable.

Basic Qualifications :

• High School Education or GED equivalency.
• 1 year experience in a Manufacturing environment
• Ability and willingness to use basic hand tools (dremel / cut off tooling) and measuring devices (i.e. - dial calipers, rulers, tape measures, protractors, micrometers, gauges, etc.) as required within department.
• Ability and willingness to perform electrical test methods (ohm meter, gauss meter, surge test, hi pot, etc)
• Basic understanding of blueprint and process sheet interpretation, including functional knowledge of geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)
• Ability and willingness to pass visual acuity exam upon offer.
• Ability and willingness to obtain Braze, Weld and Solder inspection certification as required.

The pay for this position is $21.60 / hour. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary / commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on 2 / 28 / 25.
