Systems engineering is a cross-functional engineering discipline centered on an approach, mindset, and process. This role will lead all digital aspects for an advanced program. The systems engineer will be expected to work with internal and external stakeholders to define the modelling approach and create standard work for developing, using, interfacing, and controlling the models.

Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will :
- Perform model-based systems design and simulation to evaluate alternate architectures and to automate validation and verification activities
- Develop system models in accordance with applicable internal and external guidelines, standard work, and modeling standards / requirements
- Perform system engineering and provide technical / project leadership on Research & Development and New Product Introduction programs
- Allocate system functional requirements into efficient software and firmware architectures
- Develop innovative technical solutions utilizing the full capabilities of GE Edison Works on development programs
- Perform modeling and analysis of system safety aspects of product design
