Job Description Summary

This Staff Network Operations Engineer - DDI role will be focused on the DDI (DNS, DHCP and IPAM) Network Infrastructure landscape within Aerospace - for the integration of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (IP Address Management) into a unified service or solution. The successful candidate will be responsible for engineering and operational activities for our newly designed DDI ecosystem. The candidate will work directly with our Sr DDI Architect and Principal Architect to execute on requirements and design changes. Candidate will work closely with the GE Aerospace Separation (Network, Cloud, etc) teams to inform their thinking / solutioning.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities :

• Responsible for executing any support needs around our DDI ecosystem (DNS, DHCP, IPAM infrastructure)
• Responsible for managing address allocations and integrity of the data in the domain registrars
• Execution of service and technology standards across the network footprint
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop consensus, drive results, and execute projects across the organization on time and within budget
• Manage several simultaneous projects from conception through implementation
• Develop and maintain standards and designs for DDI network infrastructure and global IP registrars
• Articulate design rationale, flexibly adapt solutions, and iterate designs when required
• Work closely with senior management, and network engineering and operations teams
• Enhances efficiency via automation when and wherever possible
• Act as an escalation engineer for high severity network related production issues, work with engineers and various vendors to identify tactical and strategic solutions

The base pay range for this position is $110,700 - $160,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary / commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on January 31st, 202.
