Job Description Summary
The Staff Enterprise Architect is responsible in leading platform projects and operations across Global Supply Chain and Engineering DT in Power. This role will lead modernization initiatives which includes but not limited to managing technical debt at platform and hardware layers. In addition, this role is responsible for operational aspects of Windows based platforms like VDI on AWS cloud. This role will provide strategic and technical leadership for environment updates, technology upgrades, asset management and simplification objectives.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Identify, Evaluate and Manage technical debt of digital technology platforms across Global Supply Chain and Engineering DT Portfolio.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive plan in improving the vitality and maintaining environments in a contemporary state
- Drive continuous improvements in digital workplace by aligning with GE Vernova CTO and CISO organizations.
- Development and implementation of standard operational procedures for virtual desktop environment
- Partner with CISO and CTO teams in actively implementing cyber security controls across the organization.
- Drive continuous improvements in the platform by researching and evaluating emerging technology, industry, and market trends.
- Effectively monitor and control costs in the organization
- Participate in the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction.
- Assists in the analysis, design and development of a roadmap and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.
- Gathers and analyze data and develops architectural requirements at project level.
- Coach and mentor team members.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $111,900.00 - 149,200.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, geographic location, and skill set.
This position is also eligible for a 10% annual performance bonus. This position will stay open on the career website until at least 2 / 20 / 25.
