What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electro-Mechanical Technician position at GE Vernova?
Responsible for performing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic, CNC and PLC repairs and troubleshooting on assigned equipment and facilities to required standards and codes.
Required Education/Experience
- High School Diploma/GED AND a combination of 2 years education and/or Maintenance experience(including mechanical, electrical, and programable logic controller experience, and troubleshooting) in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to travel between Griffin Road and Maine Avenue locations as needed [drive company vehicle]; must maintain a valid driver's license
Preferred Education/Experience
- 2-year post-secondary degree in Electrical Power Technology or equivalent content degree (forexample, Industrial Electronic Technology)
- 5 years of maintenance experience (including mechanical, electrical and programmable logic controller experience and troubleshooting) in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Current/active Journeyman/Master Electrician License
Pay (not including Night Shift Bonus)
$35.4492/hour starting
$37.0226-40.9626/hour after progression to full job rate.
