As a Summer Intern in the Robotics & AI group, you will have the opportunity to investigate concepts from their fundamentals (theoretical and empirical) to prototype realization. You will be involved in the development of algorithms and systems that will be used in design, manufacturing, testing and operation of GE Vernova’s technology assets and government sponsored research. You will be involved and contribute to projects with GE Vernova business units and a wide array of fellow researchers across disciplines and domains. Assignments are typically for 12-14 weeks; working side by side with experts. This program includes seminars on cross-center technology and soft skills development as well as opportunities for networking and showcasing project accomplishments. Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities :
Work with industry leading experts to execute design, analysis, and validation of AI, Computer Vision, and Robotic technologies.
Strong background and research work in Machine Learning and Generative Models.
Collaborate with Engineers and Scientists from across the Vernova Advanced Research Center and business segments, to advance energy and AI.
Required Qualifications :
Current enrollment in a full-time Ph.D. degree program in Applied Math, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplines at an ABET accredited university.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

The pay range for this position is $1,000-$2,000 USD weekly. The specific weekly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
