Job Description

GE Venova is seeking a motivated and innovative student intern to join our team, focusing on the application of Generative AI (GEN AI) in terms and conditions management and the standardization of gas turbine frames. This internship offers a unique opportunity to engage with new technologies, collaborate across various departments, and gain exposure to factory operations.

What You Will Do

• Terms and Conditions GEN AI Application:
• Assist in developing AI-driven tools to enhance the management of terms and conditions.
• Participate in training sessions to learn and support the use of GEN AI tools within the organization.
• Gas Turbine Frame Standardization:
• Support projects aimed at standardizing gas turbine frames for improved consistency and quality.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to implement standardization practices.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies that can benefit standardization efforts.
• Cross-Collaboration and Innovation:
• Engage with diverse teams across the organization, including engineering, manufacturing, and digital technology.
• Contribute ideas for innovation and process improvement by integrating new technologies and methodologies.
• Network with external partners and industry professionals to learn and share best practices.
• Factory Exposure and Integration:
• Assist in bridging the gap between technology development and factory operations.
• Participate in site visits to understand factory needs and challenges firsthand.
• Provide insights and suggestions to enhance factory workflows and technology adoption.
  
  

What You’ll Bring (Basic Qualifications)

• Minimum 3.0 GPA (without rounding)
• Working towards a Bachelors or Masters degree in a technical field of study in Engineering, or a related field.

The pay for this position ranges from $22.50/hr - $34.00/hr based on years of undergrate/graduate field of study completed

This Position Is Also Eligible For

• Relocation Assistance: Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment. Employees with a permanent address greater than 50 miles away from the work location are eligible.
• Housing Allowance: Co-op/Interns employees receive a weekly housing allowance to help off-set living expenses when the co-op/Intern’s permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location.
• Employee Assistance Program, providing 24/7 confidential assessment, counseling and referral services
• GE Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) after their accumulated service reaches 90 days, and they meet any other eligibility requirements as defined in the plans. (Eligibility occurs on the 1st of the month following the 90th day.)
