The Senior Commercial Contracts Manager provides contracts leadership and expertise for project teams. This includes providing the necessary support on pre- and post-contractual management, Terms & Conditions of the contract and the management of claims. It also involves identification and management of risk in support of the contract or project. The role is subject to operating policy objectives. There is moderate autonomy within the role. High levels of operational judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Draft contract language for a wide variety of situations such as sales contracts, proprietary information agreements, consortium agreements, claim settlements and commercial correspondence
- Provide expert guidance and coaching to project teams on a day-to-day basis regarding Request for Quotes (RFQ), change orders, contract T&Cs, contract administration, and customer contractual issues of all kinds
- Provide leadership regarding significant customer contract issues : Perform contractual analysis of contractual claims and issues; develop risk mitigation and negotiation strategies, present alternatives and recommendations for leadership support; Apply problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles to issue resolution, participating directly in customer negotiations as needed
- Work closely with legal counsel, obtaining and implementing legal review as appropriate
- Drive to improve and expand contract and risk tools

The base pay range for this position is $120,000-170,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus / variable incentive compensation / equity. This position is expected to close on 2 / 12 / 2025.
The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
