Key Priorities
-Lead lean cultural transformation across the shops focused on improving SQDC
-Develop & execute a sustainable shop capacity plan for NPI & Production operations to enable growth
-Lead production Edison Works business’ to customer demand for shop operations
Role Success Factors
Process & Delivery Excellence…Build out and manage operating rhythms for shop operations for NPI and Production. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure achievement of operational and financial metrics, including safety, compliance, quality, delivery, cost/productivity, and workforce planning.
Lean Operations…Develop a sustainable lean strategy for EW component production and execute management of action plan. Develop a multi-generation product transition strategy from development to production. Grow lean transformation muscle through daily management for all shop operations.
Infrastructure & Investment Support…Participate in infrastructure strategy in support of EW shop operations. Lead projects associated with building out technology roadmaps for introduction/improvements into shop constraints.
Cross Functional Collaboration…Ability to deliver outcomes and influence strategy across organizations and divisions, including EMS, Design Engineering and D&S project partners.
Team Leadership & Development…Assess current and future technical capability needs. Establish technical capability action plan to support EW growth. Ability to attract and develop cross-functional talent.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS / BA from an accredited college or university (or high school diploma/GED with 6 years' experience in manufacturing operations).
- Minimum of 8 years of operational experience (Including: experience leading teams)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US security clearance
- Must be US citizen
