What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Engineer position at GE?
- Support field service requirements of Products and Systems, including installation, service, repair, troubleshooting, test, and start-up
- Meet Customer field start-up requirements for Products or Systems associated with the sales order entry package or warranty.
- Direct Customer or contractor personnel in proper installation and start-up of SPE equipment as required.
- Train Customer personnel in operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of SPE equipment as required.
- Troubleshooting and data collection on equipment both in the field and in system test
- Prepare written trip reports.
- Support Systems testing during the Manufacturing process to include hardware and software design verification according to the test plan.
- Directing customer personnel with installation of equipment
- Support Products set-up, testing, preventative maintenance, and repair as assigned.
- Travel requirements will be as high as 50% - 75%
- Travel requirements will include international assignments
Education:
Degree: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
Course of study in power electronics beneficial.
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
