The Lead Materials Planning & Execution Specialist will coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules. You will plan and schedule material and production needs and impact departmental operations. You will ensure an uninterrupted supply of materials to support production and sales. Work to resolve Materials issues while achieving and maintaining inventory business metrics.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules
- Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPI's
- Optimize inventory through collaboration between demand and supply teams and internal stakeholders
- Lead analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods
- Present to senior leaders on how systems interconnect and contribute to overall strategy
- Work on cross-functional projects / teams to deliver technology solutions for the business
- Communicate across the function in area of expertise
- Identify and implement continuous improvement projects
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing, Materials Planning and Execution, Sourcing or Supply Chain)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Manufacturing,Materials Planning and Execution, Sourcing or Supply Chain
