Responsibilities / Tasks

Key Responsibilities :

  • Read work orders, production drawings, and follow verbal instructions.
  • Position and align parts using jigs, fixtures, or holding devices.
  • Secure parts using crimping, staking, riveting, welding, soldering, or similar methods.
  • Connect wires, components, and terminals as needed.
  • Install finished assemblies into cases or cabinets.
  • Attach hardware such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches.
  • Perform intermediate tasks like sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, and stamping.
  • Adjust or trim materials to meet electrical and dimensional specifications.

Your Profile / Qualifications

Education

  • Highschool diploma or GED Required
  • Required Skills / Abilities :

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong mechanical skills and understanding of mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Physical strength and stamina for lifting heavy parts and prolonged standing or crouching.
  • Keen attention to detail for precision assembly work.
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Clear communication skills for teamwork and task coordination.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and knowledge of safety protocols.
  • Technical knowledge of the equipment being assembled.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to dynamic production methods and schedules
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. more than 25% of the time but less than 75% of the time.
