- Design and develop electrical control systems, including control panel hardware, PLCs, and HMIs.
- Create and modify engineering drawings using CAD software.
- Review project-specific P&IDs for accuracy and confirmation of project instrumentation used.
- Responsible for installation and technical support of PLC-based hardware.
- Support New Equipment and Service Sales efforts in terms of control system hardware selection and pricing.
- Liaise with electrical and automation components Suppliers and Purchasing team.
- Support Project Engineers and Service team with customer requests related to electrical components and electrical safety.
Your profile and qualifications:
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and NX.
- Knowledge of common CAD concepts and ISA symbology.
- Basic knowledge of PLC and HMI programming.
- Basic knowledge of VFD operation and motor starters.
- Advanced knowledge of electrical components and instrumentation used for industrial automation purposes.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to people without a technical background.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task on a regular basis.
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
