As a software Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance and troubleshooting of Rockwell PLC, HMI and motion control software. Controls Technician is responsible for the development, maintenance and troubleshooting of Rockwell PLC, HMI and motion control software. Responsible for the development, maintenance and troubleshooting of Rockwell PLC, HMI and Motion Control Software Responsible for in house testing of developed Rockwell PLC / HMI software Responsible for software modifications at customer sites as required Responsible for software documentation. Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Shop and Customer service Control Panel design a definite asset. Possible 50-60% travel Your Profile / Qualifications Education : Technical School or equivalent work experience, PLC programming, Electronics Troubleshooting, Industrial Process Controls Skills 5 plus years of experience with Software / Hardware Troubleshooting required Knowledge of EPlan. Create new drawings and update existing. Experience in back panel building. Knowledge of PLC Programming, in particular and Allen-Bradley. Motion control and higher level programming, e.g. Visual Basic a Plus. Experience in developing software projects and customized software solutions. Experience in fault diagnostics in PLC programming on machines. Familiar with Industrial process equipment, particularly Food Processing B&R programming, (Bernecker and Rainer), Siemensa Plus.
