What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Engineer position at GEA Process Engineering?
The Project Engineer executes standard product contracts per engineering processing instructions.
Responsibilities / Tasks
- Performs engineering work assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures.
- Evaluates, selects, and applies standard industry engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria using independent judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications to standard products.
- Works with equipment suppliers to size, select, specify, and purchase non-standard components to meet customer requirements, using company engineering standards and procedures.
- Provides necessary contract documentation for customer / shop requirements and subsequent follow-up assistance as required.
- Works with drafters to implement manufacturing and customer drawings and / or bills of materials.
- Works with company sales agents, customers, shop personnel, and Service department to satisfy each of their needs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
