The Project Logistics Manager at GEA Group oversees logistics for complex projects, ensuring precise delivery planning, trade compliance, and budget management. They collaborate with global stakeholders, manage carrier performance, handle claims, and drive process improvements for efficiency and visibility, supporting both daily operations and cross-category initiatives.Responsibilities / TasksProject Logistics Management of large complex projects inbound and outbound.Working with Project managers, project directors, purchasing, and end customer for accurate delivery planning.Work directly with Trade Compliance to ensure divisional compliance.Managing the financial results of the of budget vs. actual cost of projects in pipeline.Manage claims with carriers and GEA global transportation insurance.Managing the operational performance of the carriers and align with Category Management.Support with needs from carriers and customs brokers.Working alongside Global Category Management to ensure accurate logistics project budget and manage the project to that budget.Interact globally and regionally with key stakeholders to ensure logistics activities are optimally executed.Cross category collaboration for network or mode optimization.Local and global implementation support if needed with structure and idea generation.Create and ensure proper use of processes and tools for end-to-end visibilitySupport other team members across logistics with daily operations as needed.Your Profile / Qualifications5 years of experience working with the execution of Large Project.Working knowledge of import and export compliance regulationsInternational Logistics knowledge requiredClear understanding of IncotermsFreight Forwarding experience preferredAbility to work with cross function teams globallyWorking at GEA Group has significant benefits : 12 Paid HolidaysPTO - Paid Time OffMedical PlansDental InsuranceVision InsuranceHealth Savings and Spending AccountsTuition Reimbursement401k with excellent employer matchWellness Incentive ProgramEmployee Assistance Program#engineeringforabetterworldGEA Group is committed to fostering an inclusive work environment where all clients and employees feel welcomed, accepted and valued.
