We are seeking an experienced Freight Logistics Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling pick-up and delivery appointments for inbound and outbound freight, including shipments with hazmat.
Responsibilities
- Schedule pick-up and delivery appointments for inbound and outbound freight, including shipments with hazmat
- Ensure compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT), International Air Transport Association (IATA), and International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) regulations
- Coordinate with carriers to resolve any issues or concerns related to shipping
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and schedules
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in freight logistics or a related field
- Strong knowledge of DOT, IATA, and IMDG regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
