GEA Group is seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder to join our Refrigeration Division. This role involves performing a variety of welding tasks in the manufacturing of standard vessels, heat exchangers, and compressor packages to meet required specifications and budgets. The ideal candidate will have a passion for precision welding, strong fabrication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.Responsibilities / Tasks

Essential Duties / Responsibilities :
Standard Vessels and Heat Exchangers
Perform all operations in the manufacture of standard separators, receivers, and heat exchangers to required specifications and budgets.
Assemble and weld sub-assembly parts.
Install parts, weld internal and external components, and install heads and sub-arc.
Perform sub-arc wrapping, and assemble and weld supports, legs, angles, and water boxes.
Assist in training less experienced employees and provide guidance as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Standard Compressor Packages
Perform all operations in the manufacture of standard compressor packages to required specifications and budgets.
Assemble and weld sub-assembly parts, install package components, and assemble, weld, and install system piping.
Assist in training less experienced employees and provide guidance as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Profile / Qualifications
Required Skills / Abilities :
Pipe welding skills (Ability to qualify in a 6G test for MIG, Pulse, and TIG welding).
Proficiency in blueprint reading.
Strong fabrication skills (cutting and fitting).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, if needed.
Ability to function well in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
Dexterity in hands, arms, and fingers to operate tools and / or machinery.
Education and Experience :
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Certified Vocational Degrees preferred.
Minimum experience : Vocational training or less than 2 years of related assembly experience.
Basic math and blueprint reading skills.
Basic fabrication skills.
Understanding of safety rules and regulations.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to sit, stand, reach, and walk for extended periods on concrete surfaces.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate tools and machinery.
