Morrison Industrial Equipment is looking for a full-time Management Trainee/Service Assistant in our Brighton location at 1183 S Old US Highway 23, Brighton, MI 48116-1604. This team member would start in our service department, managing work orders and technician dispatch. They would later have opportunities to move into the parts department, with other opportunities for advancement after gaining sufficient experience in both departments.
Morrison Industrial Equipment has a strict drug-free policy, and all employees will need to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical exam, background and driving record check. Employees are also subject to random drug screenings.
This team member works Monday-Friday, first shift hours, and works 40 hours a week with the opportunity for overtime.
Compensation ranges from $20-23/hour, depending on experience.

- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Computer skills, intermediate level, including experience with Microsoft Office 365
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Desire to learn and advance
- Processing of technician timecards and organizing weekly payroll
- Opening, processing, and monitoring of work orders to ensure successful and efficient service
- Proactively contacting customers to provide repair status of units
- Debriefing with technicians at the conclusion of each day for the purpose of efficient scheduling
- Repair estimate preparation, presentation, and processing
- Processing of warranty claims
- Answering phones and assisting customers with a positive customer focused attitude
- Assisting with rental inquiries, quotations, set-up and deliveries
- Intermediate level computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Additional duties, as assigned
