Position: Account Manager
Division: Supply & Distribution
Status: Full Time/Salary Position
POSITION SUMMARY: An Account Manager will be assigned a territory/region to identify and grow new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
REPORTS TO: Sales Manager of Supply & Distribution
SUPERVISES: N/A
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Make in-person sales calls daily, cold calling.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers.
- Handle inquiries and requests from customers and address their needs.
- Manage accounts, making sure they receive services that are within their budget scope and meet their needs.
- Collaborate with other team members to discuss progress, ensure accuracy and find new ways to improve business.
- Regularly communicate with purchasing/operations team regarding products necessary for customers
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Regular and timely attendance is an expectation of the position.
- Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Previous sales and customer service experience is preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Business degree or equivalent and relevant professional experience

- Ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines.
- Self-starter that takes initiative along with analytical skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Physical Activity: Talking, hearing, repetitive motion, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, and climbing stairs.
- Physical Requirements: Exerting up to fifty (50) pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to thirty (30) pounds of force frequently, and/or up to ten (10) pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Visual Acuity: ability to operate machinery and determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned including to make general observations of facilities.
