Your profile
- You posses an in-house customs brokerage license
- Thorough understanding of Harmonized Tariff Schedule and Customs regulations - 19CFR
- You have in-depth knowledge of Tariff Classification, Valuation and Country of Origin Determination
- You have strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to influence others through demonstrated expertise
- Impeccable customer service and able to work well under pressure
Your Duties
- You are responsible for developing, implementing, training and managing import compliance policies, procedure and internal control programs
- You control, analyze and adapt existing processes, preparing the associated documentation
- In close cooperation and coordination with our divisions, you support preparation and follow-up work as well as the implementation of strategic projects in Austria and abroad
- Able to escalate any unresolved issues or risk before they mateially impact GW
- Serve as primary interface with U.S government regulatory agencies on import related issues
- maintain current knowledge of all major customs, security, or other agency import programs and their impact on day to day programs
