Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Center Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our grocery store's center store department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, optimizing product displays, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales performance. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the overall operations of the center store department, including inventory control, merchandising, and staff supervision.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions regarding product selection and pricing.
• Oversee the stocking and presentation of products to ensure a visually appealing shopping experience.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe shopping environment.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Prepare and manage budgets, controlling expenses to achieve financial goals.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in a management role within a retail grocery or food service environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
• Proficient in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to analyze financial reports and sales data to drive business decisions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Working Conditions:

• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
